Marcus Nettles brings a wide variety of knowledge and experience to Hidden Gem Discoveries, Ltd. services. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, and furthering his education and baseball career at the University of Miami-FL, he knows what it takes to excel and gain attention from recruiters and scouts at the next level. After winning two national championships with the Hurricanes (1999 & 2001), Marcus continued his baseball career professionally with the San Diego Padres when being selected in the 11th round of the 2001 amatuer draft. His world class speed stapled his name in the San Diego Padres annals by being slated the fastest man in Padres history (6.21 60-yard dash time), and one of the fastest men in Minor League baseball. In 2009, Marcus retired and transitioned into the professional world.
