Disparities in Park District programs limit the life choices of children growing up playing baseball, impacting their athletic potential and community involvement. Most baseball youth organizations are travel "pay to play" programs and offer nothing besides a Summer of competitive fun. Hidden Gem Discoveries targets individuals from all backgrounds and sets the tone as an educational platform to help expose qualified athletes to college programs. This is a challenging endeavor due to limited funds of some participating families, but your support can have a tremendous impact on the lives of these student athletes. A contributed dollar amount will strengthen key priorities of our organizations vision and enhance visual presence and recruitment of HGD's registered student athletes by providing:
